Yanks-Bucs rained out, will play 2 Sunday
With severe rain and wind in the weather forecast Friday night, the Yankees’ scheduled inter-league game against the Pirates was postponed and rescheduled as the second game of a single-admission doubleheader Sunday at Yankee Stadium. Only tickets dated Sunday, May 18, will be valid for the twin bill that day.
The first game of the doubleheader will begin at 1:05 p.m. as originally scheduled. The second game will start approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game. Gates will open to fans with valid tickets at 11 a.m. The YES Network will broadcast both games of the doubleheader.
Fans holding paid tickets for Friday night’s game may exchange their paid tickets for any regular season game at the Stadium within 12 months of the postponed game, including this Sunday’s doubleheader, subject to availability. Complimentary (COMP) tickets for Friday night’s game are not valid for any future games. COMP tickets or equivalent tickets bear no cash value and do not have any additional benefits that may be offered to ticket(s) with a dollar value.
